Crazy hair!!!!

These are the last pictures of this NY trip. If you want more...go to Jennifer and Taylor's new blog they created while they were here. We wanted to take the girls to FAO Schwartz to play the life size piano, but it was closed down when we got there...so sad!! Jennifer and Taylor found this awesome restaraunt in NY that the famous chef Mario Batali (spelling??)started...delicious!!!

New Jersey Pit Stop

We stopped in New Jersey to sleep between our days in New York. This was the first time that the Pettitt cousins had all been together. Rylan met his cousins Sammy and Lexie that live in Virginia.

NYC with the Andersons

Sorry about the overload of pictures...we just took so many! The Alvin street sign is dedicated to dad Anderson...we thought it was pretty cool (sorry it's blurry...it was the best we could do). The bottom one with Tim and the sign is where we parked both days...pretty funny. The first day we were there it rained/misted most of the day. Bailey sat on a wet bench so we had to stop by a store and get her some new and dry pants so we bought Rylan a coat because it was pretty cold, and we were unprepared for it!

VISITORS!

We were so lucky to have Jennifer, Taylor, Bailey, and Lindsay come and visit us this past week. We had so much fun! We went to a Butterfly Land, NYC, and visited lots! Rylan loved the girls (especially Lindsay--who showered him with hugs and kisses almost constantly)! We were sad to see them go and really enjoyed the visit.

The video below is of Rylan eating rice cereal! Sorry it is so long. You don't have to watch the whole thing (I haven't figured out how to edit movies). We mainly wanted to share the funny face he pulled after his first taste...and a few bites later, he starts making "yum" noises. Enjoy!

ST. PATRICK'S DAY CHARMER

Everyone thinks Rylan is Irish. Could it be his red hair, fair skin, blue eyes, and round face?

YUMMY!

Rylan ate his first solid food on Thursday! Well, actually it was just really runny rice cereal. He of course had most of it slopped all over his face, but for the most part we think he really enjoyed it. We had lots of fun feeding it to him and got a big laugh from the face he pulled after that first bite. Check out the video...it's pretty funny.

The Josh Groban Concert!

We went to the Josh Groban concert on March 7 in Providence, Rhode Island. We left Rylan home with 2 amazing babysitters (Scott and Natalie Pettitt--thank you, thank you!) It was so great to get out and enjoy a night with just the 2 of us.

We got stuck on the exit ramp of the freeway for about 1 hour and we finally made it into the concert 30 minutes late. Luckily we didn't miss any of Josh Groban. Wow, can we just tell you how amazing it was! He is an incredible singer (as we're sure you all know).

These pictures are'nt the greatest because we left our camera in the car (Duh!) So we had to take these with our cell phone. We enjoyed every minute of it! It was an hour and 45 minutes long and it seemed as though he had only been on stage for half that!

Rylan loves to have conversations with his dad! He likes to grab his face too--which mom thinks is pretty cute.

Sorry that we haven't updated for a few weeks...busy times! Here are more pictures of our little cutie! If you notice in these particular pictures, Rylan is sucking on his hands (shown in previous posts). His new thing is to bite really hard on his fingers--which of course makes him cry! Or he likes to inhale/stick his fingers so far back in his mouth that he gags (which has been his "thing" for a long time). You would think he is balemic (spelling??)...silly boy!
