THINGS TO LOVE THIS WEEK

Flowers just because (well not really just because...but enjoyed none the less)
Sitting in a warm bed in the middle of the day looking at a magazine and watching the snow fall outside
New hair cuts for the entire family
Fresh strawberries
New MAC computer

NEW SPOT

Tim made a beautiful new desk for our bedroom and Rylan has found a new nook. He will run to this spot and hide all of the time...he loves it! It's so funny that he fits! I don't think I'll be able to put anything in the shelves for the time being.

Stairs

Did any of you do this when you were kids??? Well, I may have started a bad thing with Rylan. Until he can do it by himself, I better make sure there is a lot of ibuprofen in the house...I'm just not as young as I used to be!

ARE WE THERE YET???

Well we flew by the seat of our pants last night and took a crazy 2 hour trip (one way) up to New Hampshire at 6 pm. I know what you are thinking...with a 1 year old...they are nuts! Well, we are!! But it was so much fun! And it was well worth it because we got a new computer!!! Hurray! Goodbye PC, hello MAC!!

THINGS TO LOVE THIS WEEK

Rylan climbing all over his stroller and getting stuck a few times
Dinner and a movie with friends (even though I was a maniac with leaving my child--we were far away)
Going with a friend to get her families picture taken and having to dance around singing "Spider pig, spider pig, does whatever a spider pig does" just to get her kids to smile for real (it was so funny!)
AND...
Valentines Day of course

JUST A NOTE: I failed to mention earlier how wonderful a job my husband did with Valentines Day...it wasn't just me that did things! He sent me on a treasure hunt around the house to find cute little gifts he had gotten me...so cute!

I KNOW YOU'RE JEALOUS!

I really should be a food critic...I can't think of a better job! Getting paid to eat, now that is what I call a job that takes care of you! We went with some friends to the Cheesecake Factory this past weekend...so fun! (Thanks Brandi for the planning) And can I just tell you that the Chocolate Coconut Cream Cheesecake is fabulous! If you are a coconut fan, you must try it!

HAPPY VALENTINES DAY!!!!

Our day in a nutshell...

Tim and Rylan waking up to a Valentine Surprise and then a delicious breakfast of heart shaped chocolate chip pancakes...


Taking out Valentine cupcakes to friends...(aren't they cute...Rylan loved saying "Choo-choo!")

A quiet dinner with just Tim and me. The menu: steak, baked potato, and strawberry spinach salad (my favorite meal!) and fondue for dessert...yum!

Fun love notes in home-made fortune cookies were lots of fun!

Up To No Good

Rylan really hasn't been up to much lately, just shoveling the rain (it has rained a lot lately...melting all of the snow), and climbing into the stove drawer (yes that's right, he quietly removed all of the pots and pans and hopped right in...I had no idea until he had climbed inside.)
