MOVING

Just a quick update so no one thinks we have dropped off the face of the earth! We have found a great place just around the corner from the law school. So now we are packing up and trying to get ready for the big move. Tim starts school on Monday and we won't be moving until Thursday/Friday. It's a little hectic around here so I won't be posting much until after we have settled in. Thanks for all the support!

A Week in Review

This past week has been absolutely nuts. We have pretty much decided to stay here in Springfield for numerous reasons and we are trying frantically to find a place to move into that suits us. Besides the fact that we are surrounded by boxes, let me just say that this week hasn't been easy.

On a happier note (well only some of it), Rylan has had an eventful week on all spectrums. He is such a character. First of all, he has decided that nap time is for babies (ha ha.) He can now stand up in his crib, which he will do the moment you lay him down. We have resorted to rocking him to sleep, which I know, it's not the best thing to do, but I don't know what else to do...I have tried everything...he is so stubborn! I do have to say that it is hard not to laugh when he stands up and claps his hand against the top of the crib. Other great news is that he has started to crawl...and he is a maniac! We have had to watch him closely because one minute he will be playing with his toys across the room and the next minute he is standing up next to you! It's been really fun!

Blog Issues!

I am having some blogging issues! I came across this cute website called shabbytulips that helps with blog backgrounds. Well, I have been getting complaints that when people go into the blog all they see is the pictures, no text, and funky bandwidth exceeded stuff...so apparently the background I picked seems to have issues, so don't be surprised if you see it change a few times in the near future until I get it figured out! Also, if you no longer see a link to your blog down the side...don't be alarmed...it is all a work in progress!! Thanks for your patience!

PS. If anyone knows how to fix my problem, please help!

Cute Craft!

I found this cute craft in a magazine a couple weeks ago and gave it a whirl...so, so cute! It is a great way to display photos!

Embellishments!

What to do:
Just modge podge the paper and pictures to blocks and embellish for an adorable project to display!

Homeless?!

We are packing up and getting ready to move...but where?? Who knows! We are still waiting, and waiting to hear back from the schools we sent transfer applications to. We can't find a place here in Springfield yet, just in case we get in somewhere else! Oh the joys! On a happier note, Rylan sure has been enjoying playing with all the boxes!

Air Planes!

We have been in Utah for a week visiting with my family. We stayed at Wolf Creek by Pine View Reservoir. It was so much fun to see family that we haven't seen for a while! Although there were 45 people (1/2 of them being children) to make it absolutely nuts, it was still super fun! Here are some pictures from our trip!

Rylan's first plane ride! He actually did pretty well...we were worried. Our flights were at night so he slept most of the time...but it was hard on Tim and me because we didn't get any sleep...and are now still trying to recover from the lack of it!

The Petting Zoo

The petting zoo was really fun, really stinky, and really hot! Rylan absolutely loved it. We had to keep a close watch on him however to make sure he didn't pull any animals' hair and make them really mad!

This was a highlight...all the kids 12 and under got to take a horsie ride...Rylan loved it and couldn't stop smiling and of course, I just thought he was the cutest thing!

What a mess this was...just imagine 45 people, half are children tromping through mountain brush to take family pictures. Good memories.
