Cookies...YUM!

I know this one is random...but it kind of has to do with baking?? He just loves this cupboard...if I wan't to occupy him for a few minutes...I just open it up and he is in heaven...I just have to make sure to take out things he can open with his teeth!

AUTUMN!

What have we been up to lately??? Oh just a lot of fall things...foliage drives, nature walks, baking sugar cookies. Have I mentioned that I love this time of year?!




It was raining early in the day and this unbelievable rainbow showed up...I have never seen anything like it!!

It's Autumn Time, It's Autumn Time, The Leaves are Falling Down!!

WALKING!

That's right...we have a crazy walking boy. He just started about a week and a half ago with little steps and now he is to the point where he will cross a room before he realizes he can plop down and crawl to get to his destination much faster. I will post a video soon!

TROUBLE!!

Well, here it is folks...the pinnacle of having a boy! Or just a completely clueless mom!! I'll explain under the picture for those of you who are just scrollers.



As you all know, we have been busy painting the inside of our house. I noticed that I had missed a spot on the wall and went to quickly touch it up and set the paint can on the floor. All while I was on the phone. Rylan was in the other room with Tim, and then all of a sudden, there he was, paint can in hand, tipping it over onto the carpet!! Needless to say it was a mad rush to get things cleaned!! But that's not all!! The very next day we were having the missionaries over for dinner, so naturally I was cleaning the kitchen and bathroom. Well, the doors were still wet with paint. I shut the bathroom door to sweep behind it, not even thinking about whether Rylan would try to find me or not (he always does). The picture above explains what he did. I was in the way of the door so he pushed with all his might to get me out of the way so he could join me in the bathroom. And the bathroom is where he stayed for a major clean up!

DRIVE

Grab your hot chocolate, doughnuts, and a blanket!!! At least that's what we did this past weekend. We took a drive all through Western Mass to look at the fall foliage. It was beautiful. My camera didn't pick up the colors as well as I had hoped...but they were absolutely breathtaking. Just rolling hills with different hughes of orange, red, green, and yellow (did I miss any?)

BASEBALL!

I have been wishing that Rylan would just sit for a few minutes occasionally and watch Curious George or something. He is just so busy! Well, I think that I may have found something that interests him. You guessed it...baseball. He was glued to the TV. He would get distracted for a moment and then fixate right back to it...No brightly colored animated figures for him...give him the "real" man stuff. It's too bad baseball season is almost over!!

FALL

As many of you have noted on your blogs, I too LOVE fall! The gorgeous colors, great comfort food, fun activities like dipping carmeled apples and picking pumpkins! Fall is truly a wonderful season!



Tim went fly fishing this past friday for the first time. Rylan and I tagged along. The leaves on the trees were just starting to change which made the river scene so much more beautiful!



Ok Andrea...I know we copied you...Tim just loved that picture you took and quite frankly, yours turned out much better than ours...but your a pro!



Rylan and me at the Yankee Canldle Museum and Shops. We went there to decorate pumpkins with Santa, but it wasn't happening the day we were there...it was the next day! We were soooo sad! But we did get to chat with Santa, and he told Rylan that he needs to be better at eating his vegetables and brushing his teeth!



Rylan's hair matches the pumpkins!!!

HONESTLY????

OK everyone (this includes people who visit this blog but never leave comments...aka mom, dad, grandma, grandpa, aunts, uncles, etc.) I need a serious opinion poll. Here is my latest project. I saw these at Gardner Village a few years ago and loved them. However, my home-made version of course didn't turn out as cute. Do they look like:
