Kitchen In a Box! (Caution: May be a little Ghetto!)

I have really wanted to buy Rylan a play kitchen but they are just sooo expensive (well at least the one I had in mind from pottery barn). So with a little creativity and some help from Familyfun.com I got to work.


Rylan couldn't be happier with this "ghetto" kitchen. He has already personalized it with stickers and broken off handles to the oven, things that wouldn't have been acceptable if we had purchased it.

A LITTLE BEHIND??

Yes I know, I rarely post anything these days. Especially recently with the wonderful events that have happened at our house (not really wonderful, just time consuming...sick kids and all)...here's a little update:

We keep Rylan very busy with projects and such. This is one he did with some of his friends from our ward that we have over every other Thursday for a little story/project time.

My poor little baby! He was so sick with a fever and sore throat (we assume) and a cough...we took him to the doctor and got him on antibiotics, but he has been so miserable.

Our low key Valentines Day. I surprised the boys in the morning with a "heart attack" and little gifts. Then we went off to the outlets to find Tim some much needed slacks and when we came home I napped and the boys made a delicious pizza.


And last but not least, Rylan attends a little story time at the library each week. He has such a ball! He always talks about going to "Mrs. Patty's" house/library (she's the librarian) to read stories with all of his buddies. There's quite a large group of kids and some friends from our ward even go which is great!
