YUM!

We know these pictures look similar to a previous post. However, we just couldn't resist telling you about this lovely experience. We fed Rylan peaches for part of his dinner last night (one of his favorites!) Well, the Pettitt household has been pretty sick recently, including little Ry-Ry. He has been rubbing his face and coughing quite a bit. And last night during dinner was no exception. As you can see from the photos, he has peaches on his eyebrows and chunks in his lashes, this of course from rubbing his face. And peaches dribbled down the front of him from coughing. What you can't see in the picture is the tray that had been covered in food(he grabbed the container and tipped it over) and then spread it all around. Needless to say, I will no longer be resting his food on the tray...he has quick little hands.

CRAZY FEET

As these pictures illustrate, Rylan has crazy feet. We wonder if he might be getting a little big for this toy. He somehow finds a way to get his little foot wrapped in the dangling toy and when he kicks, of course the toy comes flying off. Occaisionally it gets stuck on his foot. Funny thing is that he only does this with the green and yellow toy and never the red.

STORY TIME

Part of the bed time routine for Rylan is reading a book. It is very rare that he will sit still during the story without squawking, wiggling or trying to eat the book. We typically have to find a book that is really short. However on this unusual occaison, he really enjoyed listening to Tim read. It was Dr. Suess's ABC book (a long one...go figure). I of course had to take a picture.

Hanging Out at Grampy & Grammy's

Aunt Jen brought over a bouncy chair for Rylan. He loved to sit and play with the toys hanging above him and just gab, gab, gab.

Uncle Josh played in an arena football game so we took Rylan along. He really enjoyed it even though it was unbelievably loud. He seemed to be making as much noise as the crowd.

We traveled down to New Jersey to be with the Pettitt's for Easter. It was a much needed break from life in general. We felt like we were finally able to kick back and relax. We enjoyed being with family and of course eating fantastic food. On average we gain about 5 lbs each time we go to Grampy and Grammy's house. But, no harm done right?!

Toyzzz!

We bought this cheap toy for Rylan a couple weeks ago and he is now starting to really get how to work it. He has so much fun...for those of you with children his age, this type of toy is a must! Also, ever since Bailey and Lindsey came to see us Rylan has been screaming like a girl when he gets really excited...something we're sure he learned from them. He does this screaming a lot when he is in this new toy. What a funny boy!

Bath Time Fun!

We just think that bath time is the funnest time in the world, and apparently Rylan does too! He is starting to kick and splash like crazy! We typically end up getting really wet as well. His little personality is starting to shine and is just so much fun.
